Barack Obama officially disowned Trinity Church on Saturday but remains associated with a far more sinister organization with a long record of divisive misdeeds and criminal behavior that is likely to become an issue in the general election: The Cook County Democratic Party.
Among other things, it’s the party of winning one for the Kennedy fellow in 1960.

I’m thinking to myself, is the ol’d Cook County machine any smarmier than Hillary’s wheeling and dealing and suiciding peers from Arkansas….McCain’s dirty laundry savings-and-loan scandals in Arizona….or any of a thousand assorted skeletons in every pols closet?? These skeletons are hardly admirable, but then he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone….

In a word: Yes. The Arkansas “suiciding” business is a speculative conspiracy theory; the criminality (or at least, a portion of it) of the Cook County machine, however, is a matter of historical record.
