A running mate for Perry?
Lackluster non-Obamas get my vote, but . . .
. . . . if NY Sun has it right, and it seems they do, it’s the election (2012) for Republicans to put up a winner and let it go at that, depending on tea party and other such forces to swing the presidential ship rightward while keeping eye out for a blue-ribbon candidate, somewhere, somehow.
Chicago painter, good stuff
It’s by Daniel Cleary, with whom I dined last week. Here are his still-life paintings.
For instance, Chicago Avenue at Damen:
Let them eat oil
Dig the little house
Catholic marxist development
Steinberg one, Mayordaley II nothing
Buddy, can you spare five minutes?
Do it. This week with Father Dan Whiteside of Oak Park’s St. Catherine-St. Lucy parish, where I was a boy. Typically good stuff from Catholic New World’s Dolores Madlener.
