How’s that “when we get around to it”? Punishment may be delayed but will be draconian.

This site wants to be better known. It’s a hell of a — I mean heavenly — site. Sparkling, insightful, stimulating, stuff reads well. Other than that, not much.

Sometimes it’s a fun thing to do mass.

An argument against it:

If the Sacred Liturgy is the “summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed” (SC [Vatican 2 on liturgy], 10), the handling of the Body of Christ by the non-ordained is the pit from which all and every single liturgical abuse ontologically flows.

Because if God present in the Most Holy Sacrament is treated as “crumbs” and “dust”, then reality vanishes and all that remains, in appearance, are empty and ridiculous symbolisms – and no wonder people do not respect these, change them at will, and expect them to adapt to one’s own preferences.

It’s part of the desacralization process.
