Until half the people stop expecting to live off the efforts of the working half, the U.S., Illinois, and Chicago are lost.
Until we can convice the refugees who flood the country that our prosperity is due to the benefits of our Western Civ values and our constitution and that the Protestant Work Ethic means them also. Ditto the airheads that are homegrown.
