The archbishop is a lightweight or deliberately deceptive. Most disturbing is that two good Catholics raved about his visit to Libertyville to say Mass on the 22nd. “He was so down to earth . . . so friendly as he mingled with the 1400 people gathered to meet him . . . It was wonderful.”
Mercifully, I had spared myself the experience.
