About half of those on Madigan’s list made political donations to his daughter, Attorney General Lisa Madigan, the state’s highest law enforcement official.
Campaign contributions are common among lawyers vying for judgeships and are typically not large — but enough to indicate the donor recognizes the value of political participation.
It was this way in 2011. Did Lisa M. investigate this process? Can we imagine her doing so, state’s highest law enforcement official or not? Short answer is no. So is the long answer.

Why should that matter? What are words for?

If you use ISIL you are then validating the Islamic totalitarian and jihadist claim that the modern day Jewish State of Israel is an occupation state and does not exist in the eyes of Muslims.

We know about her conflicts. Gov. Quinn’s slush fund, also known as Neighborhood Recovery Initiative, is at issue. She’s the speaker’s daughter, doesn’t prosecute Dems.
We should know more about her incompetence, called “embarrassing” by Instapundit/U. Tenn. law…

This in mail from the lady who served her country in the military:
It was bad enough that our opponent accepted an endorsement and fundraising help from radical right-wing extremist and former Congressman Allen West.
Who is also a former military person, about which Tammy’s camp offers nary a mention.
But at last night’s big fundraiser, it got worse. During West’s speech last night, he claimed that Tammy has “forgotten her oath” to defend the Constitution as a member of the military, and “taken that oath to a political party.” [italics added]
Tough language — “this gutter political attack,” says Tammy’s man — but from a former military person like Tammy. Which is worth noting.
