Neck & neck

Maybe a blip:

It will take a few more days to determine whether this recent tightening of the race reflects real change or is merely statistical noise. (see recent daily results).

But, my friends, it’s a horse race.

For the second straight day, the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that the race for the White House is tied.

  1. I hope that McCain, unimpressive to this conservative as he is, pulls steadily ahead as it settles into peoples’ heads what a terrible radical Obama is and what his judge choices will do to our constitution (as in “shredding” it). Also, he is naive, inconstant, and wrong-headed on everything!

There, doesn’t that sum things up nicely?

  2. Seems to this Independent that Margaret’s case is entirely built on this cryptic — but apparently to her, evil — label: “Radical.” I would ask how can one simplistic label capture an entire political philosophy? Labels like radical, liberal, conservative, neo-conservative, etc etc dont
‘t tell me much (good or bad). I’m wondering how Margaret is able find so much to reject from just a label…?
