Change he never believed in

John Kass is excellent today on the Emanuel pick

But this by Dick Morris & Eileen McGann covers even more of the spectrum and is devastating about Obama’s con job about change becoming clearer by the minute.
What’s with Obama’s choice of old-time Clinton cronies and recycled Washington insiders to run the transition to his new politics of change?

Can’t the anti-Washington insiders President-elect find anyone who isn’t a Beltway has-been?

Etc.

  1. Depressing. And, this is just the beginning of the cast of horrors. Wait till we see who he picks for the courts and Attorney General — how about Jamie Gorelick? As if she hasn’t caused us enough trouble.

Rush said he was on the president-elect blog and read some of the details of the “volunteer” program he proposes — students at various levels must donate increasing amounts of hours; even retirees. Guess our Social Security pittance will have to be re-earned. Wait till the old-timers hear about that! Rostenkowski got chased for much less than that.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

  2. Was the “change” mantra a bold-faced lie then? Or did Obama just not think through how he was going to implement it respectably? It just seems like social suicide to do what he’s doing. People are going to become very angry, very quickly, when they realize how very tired his liberal illuminati philosophies and elected officials are, and that he’s back to hugging the status quo like his life depends on it.

  3. An Additional thought about Mr Emanuel. Growing up out in the country, as I did, gave me training in judging a man “by the cut of his jib” After eighty years, this criterion has never failed nor deceived me. What I see in this man’s “jib” scares me to death. I recommend that we keep a close eye on this crafty leftist sneak.
