And while we rejoice in Hawk’s absence tonight (see previous post), let us do honor to this site dedicated to his being gone, so that we no longer have to hear “He gone!” after every damn strikeout by a Sox pitcher. Please, God, let him be gone — retired to some shady glen, or to a manager’s job in the National League.
