More alarmist drivel. Certainly abusive, endless belittling and yelling at a child is destructive, who doesn’t intuit that? Occasional yelling is the parents’ best tool to stop bad behavior and to get the attention of kids who get used to tuning them out. We’ve all yelled at our kids and most of them have turned out fine.
