How pathetic we have become that a biting dog was not seized and destroyed at least after the second bite. The rights of animals, except not to be abused, should not occupy a moment of our time, much less $28,000 of litigation.
A good neighbor should have handled the matter discreetly as a public service. I hope those bitten have sued that selfish, stupid couple.
