Catholicism is the religion of delayed gratification. This life is a test run to determine our eternal gratification. If we live only to have pleasure in the now, we won’t have beatitude in the future. Christ has instituted His Catholic Church to provide us with small mini-trials every day.

robust, full-throttled argument for why he’s the best person to lead in the U.S. in the wake of the ongoing global terrorist attacks. Throughout the roughly 20-minute speech, he invoked the Sept. 11 attacks and, how in his role as U.S Attorney, he prosecuted several terrorism cases.
By the end of his speech, nearly everyone in the room rose to their feet to give Christie an enthusiastic and drawn-out standing ovation.

“He called ISIS the JV and just hours, just hours, yesterday before they struck in Paris he told ABC News that his strategy was containing ISIS,” said Christie, referring to Obama.
“All of these statements were a lie, he sees the world as he likes to see it, as a fantasy. I see the world as it really is and it’s time to have a president who sees the world as it really is, not how he wishes it would be,” he said. “We need someone who’s made decisions, who stuck by those decisions, who understands the ramifications — not only on action, but of inaction.”
