  1. Every show, every novel has to have a gay in it. Very tiresome. I am resorting to rereading old Carholic classics. They are inspirational and simply refreshing.

    1. I look back with delight myself. John H. Newman, for instance, or Henry James, or (for a time) Bulwer-Lytton, not the greatest of novelists but informative, sensible, and a good plotter. As for films, more recent ones, some of them, feature welcome advances in camera work etc . . .
