How’s that “when we get around to it”? Punishment may be delayed but will be draconian.

The trouble with communion in the hand

An argument against it:

If the Sacred Liturgy is the “summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed” (SC [Vatican 2 on liturgy], 10), the handling of the Body of Christ by the non-ordained is the pit from which all and every single liturgical abuse ontologically flows.

Because if God present in the Most Holy Sacrament is treated as “crumbs” and “dust”, then reality vanishes and all that remains, in appearance, are empty and ridiculous symbolisms – and no wonder people do not respect these, change them at will, and expect them to adapt to one’s own preferences.

Priest used to hold fingers this way, once they had touched the  host.

It’s part of the desacralization process.

St. Therese patron of a certain kind of ordination

Holy hijacking!

This from the Call To Action on Facebook:

Tomorrow is the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux! Patron saint of the women’s ordination movement! Forward this petition to your friends–it will be hand-carried to the Vatican in two weeks by Fr. Roy and representatives from Call To Action, Women’s Ordination Conference and Roman Catholic Womenpriests!

Yes. Derived from her praying for priests? Just praying a lot in general?
