When the minimum raise is hiked to $15.00 per hour, what will happen to those workers who are making $15.00? Don’t they now deserves $20.00 per hour? And advancing up the pay scale, each worker will demand more. This is not the recipe to create jobs. Instead, jobs will be lost. Minimum wage is entry level only. Good workers will advance accordingly when they prove their worth. Illinois and Chicago are hovering on the point of no return, while union control is aggressively pounding the final nail in the coffin which has already fallen apart.
