This was a fine tribute, Jim. Thanks. I’m one of Cardinal George’s sheep. We knew his voice. Now it’s silent. But more people will read his wisdom than ever before. That’s the good part.

I’m sure he was a man of high intellect. Mediocre brains don’t become bishops. The one vital quality he lacked was the will and/or the strength to be a good shepherd of his sheep. He spoke little and late about the sexual revolution going on within Illinois. Now we are on the verge of being considered criminals if we don’t bow down to the Homosexual Agenda. What was he saving his ammunition for?
Viva Card. Burke! We won’t be seeing his like again with the latest pope.
