It’s true, Biden managed not to fall off the dais, or go completely blank, or fall over his dog. It’s true, he matched the topics on his cue cards to the subjects of the questions. But this press conference was nerve-wracking and enervating to watch. It’s obvious that Biden’s mind often has no idea what his mouth is saying. This press conference was supposed to dampen concerns about his mental acuity. Instead it confirmed that Biden is too old and complacent for the scale of the task.

Dr. F. is big on the public statement but apparently not so big on fulfillment of basic duties?

• “When it comes to oversight of U.S. tax dollars headed to the Chinese Communist Party, Dr. Fauci seems like he’s literally whistling past the graveyard,” Perry told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
• Experts said the NIAID’s grant involved gain-of-function research on coronaviruses, but a federal review board that exists to scrutinize such research was never notified of the grant.

The shooting notably follows roughly one week after another shooting in Georgia directed at three massage parlors and spa, where 8 victims, including Asian women who worked at the spas, were killed. That attack prompted the media to declare that mass killings, which had disappeared from the headlines during the pandemic, have returned in the US.
